Is your cheese made in Holland or in the USA?
All our cheeses are made in Holland.
Why is my parcel coming from New York and not from Holland?
In the past we shipped our cheeses directly by post from Holland to our US customers but this took to long, parcels got lost and it was very expensive, this is why we decided to search for a shipper in the US.
Every few months we send some pallets with cheese from our factory in Holland to NY and from there our shipper picks and packs our orders and ships it by UPS to your home.
Orders with destination Europe and Japan are shipped directly from Holland.
Can I send cheese to other countries?
At this moment we only ship to: United States of America, United Kingdom, Japan, Puerto Rico, Andorra, Austria, Belarus, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, China, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Georgia, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Kazakhstan, North Korea, South Korea, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Macedonia, Malta, Moldova, Montenegro, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, San Marino, Serbia, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, South Africa. Can I order cheese during the summertime?
Edam and Gouda cheeses are well preserved products, even when it is warm. If the cheese does arrive warm, moist or soft, just put it in the refrigerator and the cheese will get "hard" again. This will not effect the taste or the quality of the cheese.
For how long can I keep the cheese?
You can keep our cheese for at least 2 months more in the refrigerator, if you can resist the temptation of eating it. To maintain it's best quality and taste, place the cheese in the least cool part of the refrigerator.
Can I freeze your cheese?
No, it is better not to freeze cheese. The cheese will loose to much of its taste after freezing.
You easily can keep our cheese for at least 2 months more in the refrigerator.
Why is my flag marked with a big "X" across it?
This means that this item is temporarily out of stock at our local shipper.
Most of the time it will be available again within a few weeks but if you would like to know exactly please send us an email.
